The Art Thread: Its Story

I wanted to give the world the same feeling I get when I read about or see art; narratives have the power to spark inspiration and new understandings. I created this platform to bring together the elements I am drawn to, hoping to give creatives, art enthusiasts, and other curious minds a place to share. At its core, The Art Thread is more than just highlighting individual works of art; it allows for investigations into the broader contexts that shape them, including the interplay of heritage and culture, whether through artist interviews, events, theoretical discussions, or explorations of spaces and collections. We aim to build a space that creates a community and bridges the gap between artists and audiences.

The Art Thread was Founded by Toria Eve - a researcher, photographer and curator based in London. It started out as a passion project derived from the desire to see more artists spoken about and foster a deeper engagement within the art and heritage world, through research, curation and conversations.
