The Art Thread: Its Story

I wanted to give the world the same feeling I get when I read about or see art, the narratives that can held, the spark of inspiration, or perhaps thinking of how emotions are evoked. I created this platform to bring together these elements I feel so drawn to, hoping to inspire and give a platform to creatives, research enthusiasts and other curious minds. At its core, The Art Thread is more than just highlighting individual works of art; it allows investigations into the broader contexts that shape them, including interlinks of heritage and culture, whether through artist interviews, theoretical discussions, or explorations of spaces and collections. I want to bridge the gap between artists, artwork and audiences.

The Art Thread was Founded by Toria Eve - a researcher, conceptual artist and curator based in London. It started out as a passion project derived from the desire to see more artists spoken about and foster a deeper engagement within the art and heritage world, through research, curation and conversations.
